Vote Today, Run It Tomorrow

It’s FINALLY here, the midterm elections where we try to save the lives of each other, and shore up a very battered democratic process. First, THANK YOU to all the people who have joined with organizations and communities to mobilize the voter turn-out, and more importantly, THANK YOU to those who are committed to staying and helping to run the public systems that work when we run them.

If you can vote today, please do.

When you vote today, vote in the interest of someone less privileged than your self.

If you are a man, vote in the interest of women.

If you are white, vote in the interest of indigenous people, Black people, Latino people, Asian people.

If you are straight, vote in the interest of someone who is LGBTQ.

If you are able-bodied and healthy, vote in the interest of someone who is disabled, or living with a chronic condition.

If you have a home, vote in the interest of someone who does not.

If you are educated, vote in the interest of children.

If you move freely in public spaces, vote in the interest of gun safety.

If you breathe clean air, vote in the interest of someone who does not.

When you vote, always vote in the interest of someone less privileged than your self.

See you tomorrow!
